I met Shawna back in 2004 fresh out of college at my first “real world” job. She took me under her wing, showed me the ropes of the company and became a quick friend. Back then, her daughter Camryn was just a teeny little one and only a few months old. Camryn is now turning into a beautiful little girl. Life has gotten busy and several addresses later, Shawna and I have still remained friends. We haven’t seen each other since 2005 but remain connected (love Facebook!). I’m so happy Shawna chose me for her holiday portraits and to chronicle this year of their lives. Her husband (Rob) and son (Ian) round out the family members and met me at Sycamore Grove Park in Livermore, CA. It was so nice to spend time with them. The focus of this session was the children as it’s their photos that grace the holiday cards each year. Harvel family, it was so great to spend a little bit of time with you that Saturday morning. Shawna, lets not let another 5 years go by! Much love to you all!
