Beautiful Groveland Wedding Photography | Kara & Renzo

Kara and Renzo were married last Saturday in a sweet and pristine planned wedding at Kara’s family’s home near Yosemite.  The location is beautiful and the weather was perfect.  The couple was adorable.  It was a little bit warm with a gentle breeze.  Even the perfect cloud cover during the ceremony.  A photographer couldn’t ask for more!  This couple lives in Boston and has been planning long distance over the year.  I love their choice of navy with plantinum decor.  The table settings were classic.  And so is this bride.  Kara is stunning – she has an elegance and grace about her that is very apparent in her photos.  She’s also got a silly side and could be found laughing with her groom on many occasions.  A little warning, this post is a bit longer than normal.  We had a lot of time to take photos and took advantage of it!

This couple opted for a first look and I was soooo happy they did!  We had a ton of time to take lots and lots of photos.  Love it!

I love his look of surprise here!

Kara, you’re so beautiful!

Guests were greeted with a champagne reception…

My second shooter Tammy actually snapped this shot while I was at a different angle.  This is why I bring another professional along with me!  I adore it.

And the cuddles…

And the little kiss on the shoulder…

And her laugh…

And how they humored some of my silly poses…

Like many photographers, I love taking photos of rings.  Seriously, what girl doesn’t like diamonds and I get to make friends with so many of them each year!  Kara’s ring is named “boom.”  Yes, it’s named and I can see why :).  I had two favorite shots (I usually take a variety).  This one…

And this one…

Kara’s parents had several hummingbird feeders around their home and I caught this perfect feeding frenzy moment before all the guests arrived…

A few minutes before the ceremony was to start mom and daughter soak in the day…

And Kara takes a moment for herself…

The night got a bit chilly but it was beautiful nevertheless…

And I finish the post off with a fun moment of Renzo and his fraternity guys serenading his bride… I swear it looks like he could be singing “You’ve lost that loving feeling” but sadly it was not that sappy song from one of my favorite 80’s movies.

Even though he wasn’t channeling Tom Cruise, Renzo was still very fun to watch.  Congratulations to you both and thank you for choosing me to share in your memories!
