Country Chic Flower Farm Wedding Photography | Katie & Tommy | Part 1

One of my favorite weddings of the year belonged to the gorgeous Katie & Tommy.  After meeting abroad on a mission, they fell in love and stayed together over years of distance.  Finally becoming one in Katie’s home state, the event was just so fun, a joy to photograph, and meticulously designed from start to finish.  The love between this couple is extremely apparent.  It is clear they are God-centered and love and respect each other to the fullest.  They live out of state, but I hope to see them as their family grows in the future.

Ceremony: The Bridge Community Church
Reception:  The Flower Farm Inn
Hair/Makeup:  Summer Schafer
Floral: The Posh Posey
Cake/cupcakes: Karen’s Bakery
DJ: Denon & Doyle Entertainment

Katie’s belt was hand made to match the colors for the wedding and was a perfect compliment to her dress.

There’s something about this moment and the expression on her face speaks that volumes to me.  She’s often smiling and laughing so this moment of peace within her resonates.

Love this Katie!

One of the adorable little ring bearers!

Katie is a truly stunning bride!  Her flowers, designed by The Posh Posey, were a perfect compliment!

A lovely angle captured by my second shooter Sharon!

And here’s Tommy… such a handsome groom!!  And smiling the whole day.

The other adorable little ring bearer…

A special “wand” created for the flower girl!

Katie & Tommy didn’t want to see each other before the ceremony but they wanted to be near one another so we found this corner of the church where they could talk, laugh and hold hands…

And pray together.  This image makes my heart ache in a good way.

The sunflowers are in honor of Tommy’s parents who have both passed.

I mentioned how fun they were right?  Tommy is ready to go!

Another emotional moment when dad is walking Katie down the aisle.  Almost makes me tear up.

Katie surprised Tommy with a special song sung by close friends.

And they’re married!

The details in this wedding were just exquisite.  I had a field day photographing them.  I swear half this wedding post is just all the amazing details Katie worked so hard at putting together.

Her amazing bouquet.  It seriously smelled delicious.
