Amber & Chris | Pleasanton Wedding Photographer | 6-19-2010

I first met Amber and Chris during their engagement session earlier this year. Actually, my only communication with them prior had been by phone, and Amber only. I live Roseville, they live in the East Bay, and we didn’t have a chance to meet ahead of time. After only a couple brief conversations, I admit I was a little nervous about meeting them for the first time. Well, all those nerves subsided right away. Amber and Chris are the nicest, most down to earth couple. I knew we would get along great and that I would love being their wedding photographer. Also, they met online. (My husband and I did too, on eHarmony). See people, online dating does work! 🙂

During our first phone conversation, Amber said their wedding was going to be at the former Pleasanton Hotel, now the Farmer Restaurant. Well, I grew up in Pleasanton and was excited to go back! So many beautiful memories. Amber and her girls got ready at the Rose Hotel conveniently located next door to the Farmer. When I arrived, Amber was a cool as a cucumber. You know when you’re a relaxed bride, you’ve found the right man. No doubts. No worries. Just love. Oh, and Chris is totally in love with his bride. You can see it. I love it when great girls find great guys! Here are some of the details of Chris and Amber’s beautiful day.
